M i Francis Wilburn (Frank) ADAMS b. 29 Mar 1836 in Mobile, AL; d. 2 Apr 1887 in Coleman County, TX; buried in Adams Cemetery. Served in Civil War. Enlisted, with brother Em, 16 Jun 1862 in Falcon, AR, as a private in Co. C, 24th Arkansas Infantry.

Francis married Laura GLEASON14 Jul 1858 in Lafayette County, AR; b. 10 Jun 1844 in Claiborne Parish, LA; d. 5 Jan 1920 in Coleman County, TX. They had twelve children.

F ii (Baby) ADAMS b. cir. 1837 in Morgan County, AL; d. in early childhood.

M iii Anderson (Andy) ADAMS b. cir 1838 in Morgan County, AL; d. cir. Dec 1862 in the Civil War, Arkansas. Enlisted, with brother Tom, 16 Oct 1862 in Holmesville, LA, as a private in Co. I, 2nd Mississippi Infantry.

F iv Sarah J. ADAMS b. May 1839 in Alabama; d. aft. 1920 in Union County, AR; buried in Friendship Methodist Cemetery.

Sarah married Lewis Turner PATE 26 Dec 1860 in Union County, AR; b. 29 May 1829 in Georgia or Alabama; d. 7 Sep 1902 in Union County, AR; buried in Friendship Methodist Cemetery. (Not related to Elizabeth's Pate family.) They had nine children.

F v Rhoda Ellen ADAMSb. 15 Feb 1840 in Alabama; d. 25 Feb 1922 in Stephens County, OK; buried in Old Duncan City Cemetery.

Rhoda married Richard Seburn RUSSELL 30 Dec 1855 in Columbia County, AR; b. Feb 1835 in Crawford County, AR; d. 10 Sep 1907 in Stephens County, OK; buried in Old Duncan City Cemetery. They had eight children.

(ii) David also married Arminta (Armenty) WICKSON 17 Aug 1875 in Bell County, TX; b. abt 1835 in Texas; d. 27 Feb 1907 in Cochise County, AZ; buried in Russelville Cemetery. She was the widow of Christopher SHILLING, by whom she had four sons. David and Arminta had three children.

M viii Stephen Thomas (Tom) ADAMS b. Jan 1846 in Morgan County, AL; d. 18 Feb1926 in Atascosa County, TX; buried in Pleasanton City Cemetery. Gun borer for Confederate Army; also served in the Civil War. Enlisted, with brother Andy, 16 Oct 1862 in Holmesville, LA, as a private in Co. I, 2nd Mississippi Infantry.

Stephen married Ruth TOBEY in 1867 in Hood County, TX; b. 18 Nov 1848 in Camden County, MO; d. 6 Jul 1925 in Atascosa County, TX; buried in Pleasanton City Cemetery. They had sixteen children.

M ix Rufus C. (Ruff) ADAMS b. 24 Dec 1855 in Columbia County, AR; d. 26 Aug 1927 in Carter County, OK; buried in Legate Cemetery.
